A atriz Sandrine Bonnaire narra a história de sua irmã Sabine, autista, através de imagens filmadas ao longo de 25 anos. Sandrine testemunha o momento atual de Sabine, que, depois de uma estadia infeliz num hospital psiquiátrico, passa a viver numa estrutura adaptada a ela. O documentário mostra a penúria e o despreparo de algumas instituições especializadas e as consequências que elas podem ter nos doentes.

Actress Sandrine Bonnaire tells the story of her autistic sister Sabine through footage shot over 25 years. Sandrine witness the moment Sabine, after an unhappy stay in a psychiatric hospital, goes to live in a structure adapted for her. The documentary shows the hardship and the lack of some specialized agencies and the consequences it can cause to the patients.
