 Jeon Seung-chul é um desertor norte-coreano tentando ganhar a vida na Coreia do Sul. Depois de passar oito meses em um campo de reassentamento, ele é colocado em uma casa num decadente subúrbio de Seul e encontra um emprego modesto colando cartazes pela cidade. Ele se junta a uma igreja e conhece Sook-young. Enquanto tenta iniciar um relacionamento com ela, Seung-chul encontra conforto em um novo companheiro: um cão perdido na rua, que ele decide adotar.
Jeon Seung-chul is a North Korean defector forging a life in South Korea. Emerging from eight months in a resettlement camp, he is placed in a home on the rundown outskirts of Seoul, and finds a modest job papering the city with posters. He joins a church and meets Sook-young. As he attempts to forge a relationship with her, Seung-chul finds comfort in a new fellow: a dog he adopts in the street. |
